ABOUT ME

DR. DT. YASEMİN TÜRKDÖNMEZ

I was born in 1982 in Bandırma. I graduated from Gazi University Dentistry Faculty in 2006. I studied at Thessaloniki University in Greece in 2005, within the scope of Erasmus Student Exchange Program during the undergraduate period. I completed my specialization and doctorate in orthodontics in 2012. During my doctoral education, I was a visiting research assistant at the University of Toronto in 2008. My scientific memberships are TOD, AAO and WHO.

Porcelain laminate teeth are aesthetic restorations that are applied with minimal cutting on the tooth surface of the patients or without touching the tooth surface. Since the operations are performed on the enamel surface, they do not cause any sensitivity. Since the thickness of porcelain is very thin (0.3-0.7 mm), a result very close to nature is obtained.

Orthodontic Treatments

Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that also treats occlusion disorders of the teeth by placing the teeth and jaws in their proper positions relative to the face. Orthodontic treatments are conservative treatments that can be applied to everyone of all ages. The important thing here is that the teeth, gums and bone should be healthy.
